At The Angel Park Golf Academy we use the same methods to train a touring professional as your son or daughter. The staff consists of trained professional whose full-time jobs are to teach children the game of golf. We offer competitively priced programs for various levels of skill & experience. We teach kids to take responsibility for their games and their futures. We keep our student/teacher ratio of no more than five to one to insure personal attention.

Our academy offers introductory, advanced and playing groups as well as private lessons. The student’s ability and age are taken into consideration during the first evaluation to determine his or her individual needs. We use many techniques including video, classroom sessions, training aids and drills to illustrate to students the positions necessary to achieve their goals. We work on all aspects of the game including full swing, pitching, chipping and putting. We teach them practice drills and more importantly, how to practice. The amount of practice will be a minimum suggestion designed around age and ambition, but most of all we teach your child the game of golf.

Our skills and techniques for teaching children are second to none. We teach your children with respect and positive reinforcement. Students will learn the art of self-diagnosis in order to recognize how to correct their own golf swings. Students will be tested periodically on their knowledge of the game and swing mechanics while progressing at their own speed. At the appropriate time, we teach them how to play on the golf course. Whether students simply want to enjoy the game for a lifetime with family and friends, or decide to follow a competitive path, we can take them every step of the way.

As you can see this is an interactive program designed to challenge students. We take great pride in making this a high school golf team and college golf team preparatory program. Parents will be asked not to interfere in the coaching or training of their child. An observation area will be set up for parents who would like to watch, but are capable of not interacting at any point during class.
